Complete Guide to Understanding the Test Manager on CE Zoom (V2)If you want to create a test directly from the Test Manager (before entering the Create a Course Wizard), start with Step 1. If you are already in the Course Wizard adding a course, skip to Step 2.
Step 1: Navigate to the Test Manager
- Log into your CE Zoom (V2) Company Account. (www.cezoom.com)
- From the left navigation menu, click on Test Manager
Step 2: Create a Test
- Click the Add Test (+) button.
Step 3: Configure Test Settings
- Test Name – Enter a unique name to identify the test for each course. We recommend using the course name and date for easy tracking and organization.
- Minimum Passing Grade – Enter the required percentage for passing (e.g., 70%)
- Number of Reattempts – Enter the maximum number of attempts allowed for the test.
- If unlimited attempts are allowed, check Unlimited.
- Status – Choose Active or Inactive (default is Active)
Step 4: Design Your Test

- Currently, Multiple Choice is the only available question type.

Assign Point Value
- The default point value is 1 per question.
- Increase the point value for more important or weighted questions to make them impact the final score more.
- Higher point values mean missing the question has a greater impact on failing the test.

Mark the Question as Required or Optional
- By default, questions are marked as Required (Yes).
- If set to No, users can skip the question without penalty and any correctly answered optional questions become extra credit according to the point value given.
- Set Question Feedback
This feature allows you to provide additional explanations that users can review after completing the test—whether they pass or fail.
Types of Feedback:
- Feedback for a Good Answer – If a user selects the correct answer but you want to offer additional context, clarification, or reinforcement, enter it here.
- Feedback for a Wrong Answer – If a user selects an incorrect answer, this feedback will be available for review. You can include:
- Instructions on where to find the correct information.
- References to course materials.
- An explanation of the correct answer.
Steps to Set Question Feedback:
- Click "Set Question Feedback."
- Enter feedback in the Good Answer field (optional).
- Enter feedback in the Wrong Answer field (optional).
- Click "Done" to save and return to question editing.
Note: This feedback will only be visible after the test is submitted—it will not be shown while the user is taking the test.
