Why Some Fields in a CE Record Are Locked or Not Editable on CE Zoom (V2)

Understand why certain CE record fields cannot be edited and when a CE record becomes locked.

Why You Can’t Edit All Fields in a CE Record:

There are two main reasons why some CE record fields may be locked or restricted from editing:

1. The CE Record Has Been Submitted for an Audit

Once a CE record is submitted as part of an audit, it becomes 100% locked. No fields can be changed. This ensures data integrity during the audit review process and historical records.

2. The CE Record Was Issued by CE Zoom

If the course was issued by CE Zoom:

Locked Fields:
You cannot edit the course title, date, credit hours, educational method, or the CE certificate itself.

Editable Fields:
For non-approved CE Zoom courses, you may edit the course topic and provider if necessary.
However, if the course was board-approved or has gone through CE Zoom’s accuracy verification process, all fields will be locked—except for the notes and additional documentation fields.

⚠️ Only make edits if you are confident the original information is incorrect.
