If you receive a location error during checkout, update your profile with a valid address so taxes can be calculated and payment processed.
Issue:
When upgrading your plan or registering for an event, you may see the following error:
"Unable to complete payment – location is not recognized."
This means your account does not have a recognized address, so the system cannot calculate the required tax.
How to Fix It:
- Log in to your CE Zoom account.
- From the left navigation menu, click "My Account."
- By default, you’ll land on the Contact Information tab.
- If not, click the "Contact Information" tab manually.
- Scroll to the Address section and enter a complete, valid address including:
- Country
- Street Address
- City
- State
- ZIP/Postal Code
- Click “Save Changes” to update your profile.
- Once your address is updated, return to the registration or upgrade process and try again. Your payment should now go through successfully.
