How to Confirm a new License or CE period after an official Renewal -on your CE Zoom (V2) Account
This article explains how to confirm your renewal periods on your CE Zoom (V2) account after officially renewing it through your Licensing Agency. Follow these steps to edit the new Active license renewal or CE Period to ensure your records stay accurate and compliant.
Understanding License Renewal Periods on CE Zoom (V2)
On CE Zoom (V2), it’s important to confirm a License Period each time your license or CE period is renewed. These periods are essential for calculating your compliance status for each cycle.
How to Confirm a License Period after Renewing It
The CE Zoom platform will automatically renew your License and CE Renewal Periods without requiring you to continually edit and add the new dates. CE Zoom has determined the length of these periods based on the information available to the public via the regulatory body that governs the license. These recurring intervals are usually in 1, 2 or 3 years length and will be auto calculated based off the last date of the license period associated with the license in the CE Zoom account. Note: these dates were initially established by individual Users as part of the 'adding a license' to a professional account process.
It is critical that Users confirm that these auto calculated renewal period are accurate for each license held-as individual may have unique situations.
Note: If your regulating body uses CE Zoom, they will manage your renewal periods for you. In that case, you won’t be able to adjust the renewal dates on your end.
Follow the steps below to edit the dates to manually enter and manage renewal periods—including setting start and end dates, applying extensions, and keeping track of what CE counts toward which renewal.
1. Navigate to the License Manager
-
From your navigation menu, hover over Manage Licenses.

-

- This opens your License Manager page.

2. Select the License to Renew

4. Add Expiration Date
When updating your renewal period, you’ll need to add the expiration date of your new license. This and the uploaded your license are the only editable fields in this step.
Note: The license issue date is auto-calculated based on the expiration of your previous license and cannot be edited directly.
Because the issue date is auto-calculated based on the expiration of your previous license, it cannot be edited directly.
ⓘ The license issue date reflects the start of your upcoming CE renewal period, not the date you received your physical license. Since most professionals renew early, licenses are often "issued" or "received" before the new renewal period officially begins.
If the start date of your new renewal period is incorrect, cancel this step, go back, and edit the expiration date of your previous renewal. Once updated, return here to add the new renewal period with the correct start date.
5. Upload a New License (Optional)
-
You may upload a file or photo of your license for your records.
6. Save Changes
