Define provider availability and CE credit restrictions within your agency’s compliance rules

Overview

From your Master Provider List, your agency can set effective date ranges and CE hour limitations for each approved provider. This ensures that CE Zoom tracks and enforces your agency’s rules regarding when a provider is approved to issue credit and how much credit can be accepted from them.

No end date: If this provider has a continuous approval you will select no end date.  This can always be edited and updated at any time.

If your provider has different time periods in which they were active or they had an elapse in approval you can add multiple date ranges to make sure the system knows exactly when the provider is active
  6. Credit hour and course limitations:  If you agency limits the amount of hours or courses a licensee can obtain from a provider you will want to select yes to Q2 and select how the provider is limitedScreen Shot 2025-06-06 at 3.47.34 PM
  7. Provider  Category: Each provider by default will have a category assigned to it. All schools for example will be listed under one of the higher education categories.  However, you have the ability to edit the provider and update the category as they would like the provider to track.  A good example of this would be a Vocational School CE provider, that by default is set to: higher education-vocational school, but your agency sees the provider as a CE company, therefore you would update the category so the provider will track as a company and not as a schoolHow to Set Active Dates and CE Limitations for Providers in Your Master Provider List
